This experience is held outdoors.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire, as this event is outdoors.
What is the weather policy?
This event is rain or shine. Of course, if the weather presents a hazard and a safety risk, the decision to cancel the event will be made by 2 p.m. on the day of the event. You will be notified via the email you used to book your tickets of any cancellation and the re-booking process. Please check our website and social media pages for updates.
How long does the experience last?
For you to have an estimate, the trail is approximately 1 mile around the Garden. The time guests spend on the trail will vary based on pace and time at specific pieces. However, you should allow at least 90 minutes. Christmas in the Garden is self-paced. Please remember to take your time, create memories, and take photos along the way!
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Christmas in the Garden features multiple concession stands along the trail to purchase food, snacks and seasonal alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We're proud to have Westland Hospitality as our event caterers. Credit or debit cards only will be accepted.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is parking at the venue. Parking passes can be purchased in advance on the ticketing page (recommended for the best price) or onsite on a first-come, first-served basis at a higher rate. Please note that cash is not accepted. Parking applies to all vehicles, including accessible stalls, but not to ride-share services. Ride-share users must present their purchases upon entry. Anytime Access tickets include onsite parking. For busy nights, overflow parking will be available, with guests directed to these locations by Garden staff.
What are the driving directions?
Parking at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is conveniently located in the main lot located directly in front of the Garden Center on University Drive. The address is: 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76107. When parking is full at this location, guests will be directed to overflow parking locations by Garden staff.
What are other ways I can get to the event?

Will there be additional dates?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes! Festive light-up items and apparel will be available for purchase at two different locations along the trail.
About Tickets
Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance through the Fever app or on the Fever website to guarantee your spot. A box office will be available on-site, but tickets purchased at the door will incur an additional charge.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
How do I access my tickets?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase.
You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. No refunds are permitted under any circumstances. A rebooking fee may apply for any date/time changes. What are Anytime Access tickets?
Anytime Access tickets are available for those interested in having the flexibility to arrive anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on their scheduled visit date (except for the nights of December 24 and December 31, when the last entry is at 7:30 p.m.). These tickets are sold at a higher price point, they include parking, and do not have a timed entry slot. However, if you have Anytime Access tickets, you will need to arrive and check in no later than 8:00 p.m.
I am visiting the Fort Worth Botanic Garden during the day. Will I have to leave the Garden before entering Christmas in the Garden in the evening?
Yes, to ensure that only ticket holders for Christmas in the Garden have entry to the evening event and parking, daytime visitors must exit the Garden and parking areas. During Christmas in the Garden evenings, the Garden will close at 4 p.m. and will reopen at 5 p.m. for ticketed guests only. Designated Christmas in the Garden parking areas will open by 4:30 p.m. once daytime vehicles have departed.
Can I use a guest pass or other discounts?
Christmas in the Garden is a special ticketed event, we are unable to accept guest passes, reciprocal admission passes, or Museums for All discounts. Fort Worth Botanic Garden Members do receive a discount on admission tickets. Need help accessing your membership discount? Contact us.
Access to the Event
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled time slot?
It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket. If you are late, we will accommodate late arrivals in the next time slots based on availability. The last entry is at 8:15 p.m.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Pets are not allowed in the Garden except for service animals (dogs) as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Texas state law prohibits leaving animals in any unattended motor vehicle that endangers their health or well-being. Any guests who are non-compliant with state law will be asked to leave the premises, and authorities will be notified.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Garden is a wheelchair accessible venue. The terrain of the light path is variable with slight inclines, declines, and may have uneven surfaces.
To make your experience as comfortable as possible, we recommend that you have assistance when you attend the event. Mobility aids such as scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, and canes are welcome.
Will there be wheelchairs available?
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden offers manual wheelchairs for free on a first-come, first-served basis, but electric scooters will not be available for rent during Christmas in the Garden evenings.
Are there any items I should leave at home before coming in?
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a no-smoking and firearms-free campus. Outside food and alcoholic beverages are also not permitted.
Do you offer companion tickets for guests who need assistance through the trail?
Guests requiring assistance throughout the trail are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/companion. Please contact us here.
Once you submit your application, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free companion ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).
Please keep in mind that you will have to show both your ticket and the companion ticket when entering the venue.
Will there be strobe lights?
There will be some light installations with flashing lights; however, there is no strobe lighting.
Can I be seated during the experience?
While this is a walkthrough experience, seating areas are available along the route for those who may need to rest.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, restrooms are available in several locations throughout the trail—please ask our staff on site for directions.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Yes! While waiting for that perfect shot, please do not block pathways or views of others. We do not allow tripods, monopods, drones, or props. Professional or commercial photoshoots are not permitted during the event. Photographs and videos may not be used for commercial purposes.
Is there a Lost & Found?
Yes, please contact us at admissions@fwbg.org if you have lost any belongings.
Is a coat check available?
Coat check is not available at the Garden.
Is this event appropriate for young children?
Yes! Christmas in the Garden is a holiday event for all ages. Children under two years old can enter free of charge with a ticket-holding adult.
Will there be an audio guide?
Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.
